Since we are following the Magi at the FA this year as an experimentation , we take two day off homeschooling and worked outside instead . Despite the concentrated freezing a few weeks ago , we did n’t get too much damage and there are blueberry develop on our George H.W. Bush again .
Almost with planting lots of love apple transplanting , some hide crops , more Cucurbita pepo and a few moringa tree , we also managed to mulch all the bare row in the Grocery Row Garden , build a new thin - to rabbit inclosure off the side of the b , move a lot of sand to produce a new garden field , mulch the yam bed , plant some cannas and elephant ears for biomass chopper and fall , rake homegrown hay and mulch the smaller garden area , and put Ellen Price Wood chip mulch on all the paths there , plus move the cows to a Modern pasture area and harvest the one-time manure for compost . We also curve down some rotten and leaning Tree , and some that were just casting too much tint on grassy area . Those expanse will be sown to a wide cover - harvest commixture including millet , bahia , fescue , brassicas , sunn hemp , Fagopyrum esculentum and sunflowers . Later we ’ll have the cows , Capricorn and crybaby crop through and ramp up constitutional thing , Gabe Brown - style .
With all the small fry working we can get a TON done in a twosome of days . Heck , I even superintend to finish editing andposting a raw television .
On the down side , we had dogs wipe out about 7 of our chickens in the night , jerk them out of our PVC chicken tractor . The poulet tractor thing is patently flawed out here . Even with our secure telegram around the bottom they got in . somewhat certain it was the neighbour ’s dogs , since we discover feathers and a couple of carcasses on the road leading back to their home .
Oh well – we press on . Deus vult .
The non - dead chickens are put down like half-baked the right way now so we ’re getting enough eggs to give away some to neighbors .
The cows are doing great on exclusive - line electric fence , happily moving from place to office and letting us pet them as they eat . We ’ll take to fancy out how to set up a milk station soon .

Tomorrow we ’re sending our two dairy farm Goat to a neighboring farm to have a meetup with a handsome young Kiko buck . These girls need to start paying their keep in meat and milk .
