April 2016 in White Pines
I take a walk yesterday around the neighbourhood with my camera in mitt . Though our Spring is just about always variable ( one day brilliant , warm and gay then raining inhuman even snowy the next ) we do get our share of gorgeous blooms in April . I am glad I did this yesterday , this morning I am look out my window and there are big , sloppy snowflakes falling . But that is fine , we need the precipitation . The Godzilla El Nino turned out to be more like Pee Wee Herman and we are still in a drouth . This is an old neighborhood , set up in 1938 by log families and many of these plants were actually planted back in the 40 ’s . This one above , I am thinking it is Flowering Quince , is in many yards and brightens up a dull mean solar day with its gorgeous red flowers .

I hump how these windflowers have naturalized along this fencing . They are flower at the animal foot of a gorgeous Lilac , see this post on theLilacs of White Pines … they are not bloom right now but very shortly they will be sate the air with their sweet perfume . Muscari have naturalize all around this one place . It is a vacation dwelling house right now but the folk that buy it recently are planning on sack out here . The do keep the place well maintained . This is the front lawn . It is a small spot of lawn and I am thankful they have let the Muscari just do its matter . When it is clock time to mop they are all done bloom and you never know they were even there . Some have even migrated outside the front fence , tough little rascal , they get no water here and come up in the rocks . They have also naturalized in the back orchard along with Daffodils . The daffodils are at their efflorescence in White Pines , mine are a little mud spattered from the rain but adorable none the less . Do n’t ya love the red of the outbuilding . And the old blue garden handcart … White Pines is filled with yield trees , it is why we get so many bears issue forth Fall . Right now the Apples and Pears are just loaded with efflorescence . This one is a scrumptious Pear . They are so pretty , I am go to have to paint them . The orchard apple tree are just as enchanting … This is a very tasty variety too .. Sadly I do n’t know what this yellow plant is called but it is a spark of jaundiced in many gardens around the neighborhood . And this Bridal Wreath Spirea is just fill with white , I conceive the name is so apropos . Though I have to say this apple tree is giving it a run for the money . There are some plum tree tree blooming too with bright pinkish peak but I give out to get any shots of those . This office is already so loaded with photos I plausibly have overwhelmed most that dropped by for a sojourn .
I have visited this garden many times and have die to comment this sweet petty stone garden filled with Hens and Chicks . I love it and constitute on doing something exchangeable against my front block rampart . I went as far as the lake to see how it is get along . Last Fall it was so empty you could walk across it on ironical ground , gratefully it has filled with the rains and nose candy we did get this wintertime . Have a fab Spring Day … next week it is supposed to get into the upper 70 ’s so you bang where you will receive me….yep , in the Garden !
