This British Columbia garden is nearly 25 years in the making
Be prepared to swoon . Christopher Garland sent in some figure of his garden featuring gorgeous and creative combinations that will have you weak in the human knee . Here ’s what he had to say about it :
We evolve this 15 - Akko property in the Cowichan Valley , British Columbia , four years ago . The previous owners devoted 20 age to lay down the garden we enjoy today . We have become friends with them since purchasing the place , and they have told us the decision to trade was made easier when they meet us , knowing the property would be nurtured and get laid as they had done for many year .
This particular garden curb a long list of plants that provide yr - round interestingness . Its extremum exhibit is in the fountain , but the garden remains attractive throughout the summertime and fall with its combining of human body , colors , and textures .

We have recently expanded the area inside the deer fencing to approximately 4 Akka to allow for more gardens . Are we mad or just hook to gardening ?
bed of color from shrub make the foreground to the house .
Rhododendron‘President Roosevelt ’ ( Zones 7–9 ) has beautiful blossom in spring and unbelievable variegate leafage all throughout the year .

Spring color at its finest ! In the foreground are white double woods windflower ( Anemone nemorosa‘Vestal ’ , Zones 4–8 ) and blue lungwort(Pulmonariasp . , Zones 2–8 ) . In the backdrop are bright regal - and - yellow-bellied primroses ( Primula , polyanthus group , Zones 5–9 ) .
In summertime the show go on , with colourful foliage and summertime - bloom perennials and shrubs .
Who would n’t want to have a walkover dinner on this beautiful patio , surrounded by endearing plants ?

The drive winds through lovely garden seam .
Sometimes unripe is enough , as contrasting textures and shades of unripened fill this planting with interest even when the flowers of spring are long gone .
Of course , in fountain , vividness is everything ! Shades of pink and snowy halo in the new horticulture season with joy .
