For some reason , I keep posting my goal here each year and then not meeting all of them . It ’s a tradition , so we ’re stuck with it now .
As I wrotein my last post , I met 2 out of the 5 primary goals I set last twelvemonth , along with a couple of junior-grade ones .
Life has a way of rearrange things .

I. Create A New Weighing Station and Start Logging Yields Again

II. Plant Two Acres of Pumpkins to Breed a Landrace
Last year we did great on pumpkin , plant seed I had gotten from a Walmart pumpkin at the end of 2020 . III. Start a Corn Landrace

IV. Make a Second Chicken Coop in the Garden
I like the idea of putting chicken in tractors , but it ’s really getting fourth dimension - consuming to move them around . go along them in one spot is easier and I think the best spot for a new chicken coop is in the heart of the gardens where they can eat overflow garden truck and weeds .
We can also harvest wimp run turd / compost for the garden with minimal manipulation , as well as feeding scraps and pluck veg right to the razzing .

I have also almost finished the text ofThe South Florida Gardening Survival Guideand am hold back on the final illustrations .
Noah Sanders has agreed to help me withAlabama Survival Gardening , and I hope to work on that afterTSFGSGis done . Then , if I am really challenging , I will write a final book in the fall . I have ideas for a scrounge guide and a book onMinimalist horticulture . In 2021 my “ surprise ” book wasGrocery dustup horticulture , as that almost indite itself as I got invigorate by the idea .
I would also wish to finish a science fiction novel I ’ve been work on , as well as embark on onJack Broccoli III ( Slow to Bolt ) .
And , along with all that , I anticipate more books from John Moody and Steve Solomon will be published by Good Books Publishing in 2022 .
VII: Put in (at least) Two More Grocery Row Gardens
I have a bunch of trees that necessitate to get planted . Since it does n’t see like we ’ll be able to afford our own homestead any time before long , I ’ll keep charter here and I ’ll just go forrader and plant Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree . If the Lord decides to transport us a few acres we can own and set long - condition trees on , I wo n’t kick , but He is good and already takes forethought of us much more than we merit . For now , I desire to keep expanding the Grocery Row Gardens with a medicinal herbaceous plant row and with more space for snort , frogs and other beneficials .
I know how the row grow in 2021 and must plant more !
VIII: Post Every Weekday on This Blog
As my YouTube epithelial duct has grown , this blog has suffered . And really , I omit post here every weekday . I ’m going to get back on that agenda in 2022 . I like being on my own program and having a swell archive of gardening thoughts and photos I can see back on , rather than having everything in video form on someone else ’s political platform .
Also , I will keep going to the gym on a regular basis and pushing myself to stay in serious shape . It would be courteous to be SUPER SWOLE .
But I intend that ’s enough for one year .
