You know what ’s one of the most complicated things I have to do after planting my spring garden ? Remembering what I planted in the dirt !
Visiting local garden centers is literally the only thing I do these twenty-four hours . Keeping caterpillar tread of what I purchase and where I plant it is n’t really my cup of tea leaf . Or should I say it was n’t , because I finally found a brilliant way to make label for my plants .
I ’m sure you ’re marvel why I did n’t just purchase manufactured labels . Well , it ’s not that I ’m meagre , but I prefer spending money on flora only .
And for the purpose of labeling , I apply my older plastic containers ! The best matter is that you’re able to utilise different type of these container ; from empty shampoo bottles to takeout boxes !

First things first , you take tocollect all the tools and suppliesyou’re go to use . Do n’t worry , the list is exceedingly short .
Takea few old plastic container ( or one prominent one ) , a sharp yoke of scissors , and a lasting marker , and you ’re unspoilt to go !

1 . Start withwashing your containers thoroughly . I ’m also not a fan of cleanup but you do n’t want any yoghurt on your script !
2 . Do your best toremove the mucilaginous recording label from your container . I had exit with a few so I guess I ’m gon na demand a hack for that one , too . 😉
3 . Once everything is entirely ironical , grab your scissors andremove the top and the bottom partof each container . After cutting , it should have arectangular or straight shape .
4 . Since you ’ll need flat surface , ensure tosnip the ends of your container .
5 . bring down the flat surface intoa few funnies ; each should be aboutan column inch wide .
And there you have it ! you could practice your labels like this or make some adjustments , such as shortening them .
Icut the remnant of each label into a triangular shapeso that it ’s wanton to put them in my soil . Ok , this is n’t something revolutionary , but for someone who ’s anything but creative , this is a lot .
Now take a permanent marker and write the name of the seeds / seedlings / transplants on the labels .
Remember those top and bottom parts of the container we remove ? Do n’t you dare toss them out ! They ’ll make perfectpot saucers or DIY hired man shovels !
Despite what many claim , it ’s not easier to just go and bribe everything . By reusing plastic packaging you ’re actually contributing to reducing waste , and I ’m trusted you already sleep with how much fictile pollution there is out there .
