I ’m for certain grateful for the hazard to enjoy the gardens of Toronto with 70 other garden bloggers last June .
As I just heard on an NPR report yesterday , being grateful is not just the matter to do at this time of twelvemonth , gratitude in reality has substantial health benefit , including deoxidise the possibility of heart disease . Well , I ’m all for that !

I ’m grateful that I be in one the most garden - obsessed city in the US , and I ’m thankful to more than 300 fellow Buffalo gardeners , who , like me , open their gardens to the public for innocent on the last weekend of July .
I ’m grateful that younger people ( call back early 30 ) are starting to garden in larger numbers ( according to studies released by Harris , Garden Media Group and the National Gardening Association ) . They may be more concerned in solid food horticulture than I am , but they understand the benefits of surrounding themselves with green infinite and produce healthy green groceries .

I ’m relieved and grateful that the regulator of New York weighed the benefits against the environmental and health peril anddecided against fracking .
On a related notation , I am thrilled and really grateful to experience so near so many outstanding parkland and nature preserves , such as Zoar Valley ( above ) , Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge , Niagara Falls and gorge , and , of course , the Olmsted parks throughout Buffalo .
I ’m grateful that , as a shade nurseryman , I ’ve learned to love the many textures of green , and not be so obsessed with flowers .
Except in bound , when my bulb obsession pays off .
I ’m grateful to live near so much fresh H2O .
