I found this out by accident.

You see , Mylee and I decided to make chocolatepeanut butterno - bake cookies one good afternoon . We had all of our ingredients on script . Exceptcocoa .

We had the first three ingredients in the saucepan on the range and we were ready   forcocoa . I look everywhere . Inside every pantry room access .

I even looked in the electric refrigerator because , well , you just never bonk . Alas , nococoa .

I sure did n’t want to let down my sweet - faced little munchkin , who was getting anxious for cookies . Thinking chop-chop , I decided to try myWilliam - Sonoma Hot Cocoa mixinto the cooky on a whim .

What Was I Thinking?

Cocoa mix in a recipe ? Do I have potency to do this ?

I was call up with my despairing fresh tooth . I take sugar as soon as potential .

Hey , if the cookies did n’t set , the mixing would still taste delicious to eat . Our sweet-flavored tooth would be make unnecessary either way .

Mylee and I were super athirst for something sweet .

If you havecocoaon bridge player , go forth with your classic formula . But , if you have theWilliam - Sonoma Hot Cocoa mixture , go onward . essay these :

1/2 loving cup butter ( 1 stick)2 cups sugar1/2 cupful milk4 tablespoonsWilliam - Sonoma Hot Cocoa Mix1 cupful crunchypeanut butter(Feel free to habituate creamy)3 cup instantoats2 teaspoons purevanilla extract

The delicious , chocolatey cookies will take just a little bit longer to prepare than definitive   chocolatepeanut butterno - bake cookie .

But , I definitely wo n’t carry that against them .

Mylee and I enjoy eating the slugger while set up the cookie onto thewax paperto dry .

Tip**Once the top is jolly set and teetotal , rick them upside down on to thewax paper . This helps the bottom of the cookie dry out out a little chip faster creating a solid , delectable cooky .

After they are dry ( if there are any left ) , place them into a tupperware container to store . This also help to ration them .

Because , you know you ca n’t have just one .

I ’m really super glad I did n’t find thecocoa . I did n’t give up on my biscuit . I only dared myself to ad-lib and try something raw .
